Born in Mexico City and raised in San Francisco, he studied graphic design before putting his visual acumen to gorgeous use at a pre-press firms. While perfecting countless fashion, beauty and still-life global campaigns, Zambrano quickly became one of the most prominent and sought-after retouchers on the West Coast. Through his correspondence with some of the country’s top photographers, he became obsessed with the process and began working backwards to a stunning picture’s lighting, setting, conceptualization.
